Recognition of a Palestinian state:

Ireland should formally recognise the State of Palestine (implementing the Seanad and Dáil motions unanimously passed in 2014);

Gaza:

Ireland should vigorously campaign for an end to the blockade of Gaza;

Colonies/Settlements:

Ireland should seek an EU ban on trade and investment with Israeli colonies/settlements, the construction of which has involved the commission of war crimes by Israel on a massive scale;

Arms/Trade:

Ireland should seek to suspend military export licenses to Israel and suspend Department of Defence public procurement from Israeli arms companies;

Palestinian Children:

Ireland should seek to ensure that Israel implement its obligations as a signatory to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Sadaka’s primary goal is the same as that of the Palestinian people - to see an end to the illegal Israeli Occupation and Colonisation of Palestine and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. Israeli policies during the 23 years since The Oslo Accord (1993) demonstrate that a Palestinian state will never be established unless the international community plays an active and leading role in bringing about an end to the Israeli Occupation.
