The West Bank

The West Bank and the Gaza Strip has been occupied by Israel since 1967.  Since then, Israel's continued military occupation and confiscation of privately owned land in the West Bank and  control  over  Gaza supported by rigorous oppressive regime has strangled the Palestinian people – militarily, socially, politically and economically. The Palestinian people have little control over their daily lives while the continued construction of ‘facts on the ground’ gives little hope for the future establishment of a viable Palestinian state.
